It is important to remove rosin residue promptly as, over time it will harden and form very difficult to remove residues. TIKL Spruce is the answer – a quick spray onto a soft cloth, a quick wipe and buff to give a lustrous finish.

It is important to note that Musical instruments have historically been finished using a multitude of varnish formulations with many different fastnesses and resistances to chemical preparations. With these different variations in mind, it is very important to ensure that this product does not affect your varnish adversely. Avoid contact with strings and unvarnished wood.
 
Always test in a non-conspicuous area to ensure that the varnish remains fast. If there is any evidence of adverse reaction, stop using immediately.
